Speaker Profiles

Guest Speaker: Alvin Tehmono, PVM

Alvin Tehmono is a Value Management and Value Engineering professional with more than five years of experience in project management consulting, infrastructure development, and construction optimization. He currently serves as a Value Engineer and Trainer at PT. Value FM International in Jakarta, specializing in the implementation of Value Engineering and Value Management (VE/VM) practices and the delivery of professional training programs.

He holds an international Professional in Value Management (PVM) certification licensed by Value for Europe, NCRVM, and DACE Netherlands, and is recognized as equivalent to a Certified Value Specialist (CVS). Additionally, he holds a Middle Expert certification in Road Engineering from LPJK Indonesia. His previous experience includes contributing to infrastructure consultancy projects at SMEC International Jakarta, including assignments under Asian Development Bank-funded programs in collaboration with the Directorate General of Highways, Indonesia.

K.C. Tang is a quantity surveying and construction industry professional recognized internationally for his extensive contributions to the built environment sector. He holds several professional qualifications and fellowships, including Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (FHKIS), Registered Professional Surveyor in Quantity Surveying (RPS(QS)), Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Value Management (FHKIVM), Fellow of the China Cost Engineering Association (FCCEA), and Certified Construction Business Manager (CCBM).

Throughout his career, he has demonstrated leadership and expertise in quantity surveying, cost management, value management, and construction consultancy. His achievements have been acknowledged through multiple international honors, including the PAQS Medal Award, the ICEC Distinguished International Fellow recognition, and the HKIS QSD Excellence Award. These accolades reflect his impact on the advancement of professional standards, international collaboration, and excellence within the global construction and surveying industry.
